The Pistol Post gives your P3 Ultimate Shooting Rest or Compact Shooting Rest even more flexibility.
The Pistol Post is great if you will be using your P3 Shooting Rest or Compact Shooting Rest with laser grip pistols or short barrel revolvers.
Laser Grip Pistols: Traditional shooting rests tend to block laser grips. The Pistol Post gives clearance for the laser to go straight to the target.
Short Barrel Revolvers: The heat generated from short barrel revolvers can scorch traditional pistol rest posts. The Pistol Post is designed to eliminate this.
To install, simply remove the standard "V" support of the P3 Ultimate Shooting Rest or the Compact shooting Rest and replace it with the Pistol Post. Installation takes only a few seconds.
